Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Electrical and Mechatronics Technician responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and optimization of complex machinery and plant systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing electro-technical maintenance, independently troubleshooting and repairing faults in electrical and mechanical components, and implementing preventative measures to reduce downtime. The technician will also contribute to optimization projects, manage spare parts inventory, and serve as a technical contact for external service providers. Key qualifications include formal training as an Electronics Technician (Operational/Automation Technology) or Mechatronics Technician, coupled with extensive experience in control and regulation technology. Proficiency in reading schematics, handling measurement devices, and working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems is essential. Advanced knowledge of Siemens control systems (ideally SIMATEC ET 200SP) and SEW drive converters is highly valued.
