Job Summary

This role is vital for ensuring the comfort and smooth operation of The Grand Green Familux Resort, a luxury and sustainable family hotel located in the Thuringian Forest. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the comprehensive upkeep and repair of all hotel facilities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, performing maintenance on critical systems like air conditioning, heating, and ventilation, and handling plumbing repairs (water lines, toilets, sinks). The technician will also address building infrastructure issues such as leaks and structural damage, install and maintain security systems (smoke detectors, fire alarms, surveillance cameras), and support renovation projects. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training or equivalent qualification, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work reliably and independently.
