Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT technical support, focusing specifically on network and infrastructure tasks across the Zwickau and Chemnitz locations for a major client, Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing network cabling, connecting to server rooms and office spaces, and handling the installation and removal of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. The technician will also perform initial system configurations based on instructions and manage service requests using a ticketing system, ensuring thorough documentation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT System Integration or a comparable qualification, possesses hands-on experience with cabling and network hardware, and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
