Job Summary

This permanent role seeks a dedicated Metrology Specialist to manage measurement planning and develop robust measurement strategies for products across the automotive, aerospace, and general engineering sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent execution of detailed error analysis against defined specifications and the crucial optimization of measurement programs and fixtures, guiding them from the prototype phase through to series maturity. The specialist will coordinate programming and measurement orders with executing technicians and relevant departments, interpreting complex measurement results to identify deviations and make final testing decisions. Candidates must possess professional experience in 3D metrology, strong technical expertise in handling tactile and optical measuring instruments, and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. Success requires an analytical mindset, spatial visualization skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Good German and English language skills are essential for effective communication.
