Job Summary

This role is centered on driving the digital transformation of municipal administration, specifically focusing on financial management systems. The consultant will independently advise clients on the implementation and optimization of the newsystem®kommunal software, designing complex accounting and approval workflows, and customizing the system to meet specific customer needs. Key responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level technical support, analyzing program errors, and leading or participating in projects, including cost planning and quotation creation. You will serve as the critical communication interface between the client, internal IT teams, and the software vendor. Successful candidates must possess an IT or Business degree (or equivalent professional training combined with several years of relevant experience), strong analytical skills, and professional experience operating and supporting IT systems. Prior knowledge of municipal accounting standards (KomHKVO) and familiarity with newsystem®kommunal or Microsoft Dynamics NAV are highly beneficial. This position offers the stability of public service combined with the dynamic nature of IT consulting.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT or Business degree (e.g., B.Sc. Business Informatics). Alternatively: Completed commercial, IT, or administrative vocational training combined with professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical support and operation of IT systems
  • Professional experience in IT consulting (implied by role)
  • Multi-year professional experience in the commercial, IT, or administrative sector (if degree alternative is used)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or newsystem®kommunal (advantageous)
