Job Summary

This position requires an experienced technician to provide essential measurement technology support for engine test benches. Day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance, repair, and calibration of sophisticated measurement equipment, as well as executing all necessary homologation-relevant tests on the test bench. The role involves meticulous planning of the utilization and availability of required measuring devices and setting up measurement technology according to situational needs. Furthermore, the technician acts as the primary technical point of contact for test bench measurement technology for specialist departments and users, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Mechatronics Technician or Mechanic, coupled with practical professional experience in engine testing. Crucially, proficiency in handling specific fuel consumption measuring devices like the "AVL 740 Fuel Exact PLU" and solid specialist knowledge of H2 consumption measurement technology (AVL Hytron & Endress+Hauser) are required. This is a responsible, independent role within a team-oriented environment.
