Job Summary

The University of Bremen is seeking a Certified Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Energy Center, responsible for supplying energy and media to university buildings and managing the Building Management System (BMS) and associated technical equipment. This full-time, permanent role involves crucial tasks such as new construction planning and maintenance within the scope of building automation, energy optimization, and the operation, administration, and planning of the BMS network and management servers. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a certified technician in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, possesses professional experience in BMS, measurement, control, and regulation (MCR) technology, and network technology. Proficiency in German (C1) and basic English (A2) is required, along with experience in BACnet communication protocols and EPlan P8 software.
