Job Summary

This permanent position as a Service Technician involves the essential maintenance and repair of specialized rail track construction machinery and equipment for the globally active Geismar Group. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing complex repairs, calibration, and general upkeep, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and conducting rigorous quality controls. The role also requires significant customer interaction, including demonstrating and instructing clients on the proper use of the machinery, as well as independently preparing accurate cost estimates. Candidates should possess completed technical vocational training, such as an Industrial or Construction Machinery Mechanic qualification, or comparable professional experience. Knowledge in key technical areas like mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electronics is highly beneficial.
