Job Summary
This role is centered on the technical conception and development of cutting-edge power electronics components, ensuring they align with predefined Electrical/High Voltage (EE/HV) system specifications. Day-to-day tasks involve evaluating existing modular power electronics components, drafting detailed requirements in specifications documents, and critically assessing supplier proposals in close collaboration with procurement and supplier management teams. Furthermore, the engineer is responsible for the final approval and ongoing support of these components within the complex system architecture. To succeed, candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate a robust understanding of power electronics operating at high-voltage levels. Initial experience with automotive high-voltage electrical systems and component supplier management is highly valued. This position offers the opportunity to drive technological advancement and requires strong analytical skills to bridge technical and business requirements, coupled with fluent proficiency in both German and English.
