Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering to drive technological advancement within the shipbuilding and marine technology sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the comprehensive planning of energy supply and marine technology systems, including the independent development and construction of operating equipment, and the integration of complex electronic or mechatronic systems. A core focus is the design, procurement, and conceptual comparison of electrical power generation and distribution systems, analyzed from both technical and commercial standpoints. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with fluent German and intermediate English skills. Proficiency in standard MS Office applications is required, and knowledge of SPS control (S7) and EPLAN is highly desirable. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects for renowned developers, a permanent contract, and significant flexibility, including the option for up to 50% mobile work.
