Job Summary

This role involves working as a Development Engineer for Electrical Engineering within exciting shipbuilding projects. The core responsibilities include the design, dimensioning, and conceptualization of electrical engineering components specifically for shipbuilding applications. Day-to-day tasks will require conducting functional testing and inspections prior to delivery, creating comprehensive technical specifications, procurement specifications, and detailed technical documentation. A key focus is system integration, maintaining installation plans, and managing safety-relevant documents, often collaborating with cross-functional departments. The engineer will also support the commissioning of electrical systems onboard vessels and perform fault analysis and optimization of existing systems. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields, coupled with strong knowledge of project planning and electrical design, and very good written and spoken English skills. Experience in shipbuilding or related fields is highly desirable, making this a challenging and rewarding position for a technically skilled professional.
