Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious High Voltage Engineer or Technician to take responsibility for complex infrastructure projects focusing on high-voltage technology and overhead lines. Day-to-day tasks involve developing future-proof 110kV cable connections, overhead line routes, and switchgear, alongside creating comprehensive tender documents. You will manage detailed project timelines, lead construction meetings with partner companies, and rigorously monitor adherence to quality standards and safety regulations during implementation. A core part of the role is providing expert technical advice and proactively identifying and mitigating potential project risks. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy Technology or a relevant Technician qualification, coupled with demonstrable project experience in 110kV high-voltage cable technology and substation operations.
