Job Summary
This IT Application Manager role involves the critical operation and maintenance of server-side customer applications, focusing on ensuring high availability and performance. Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and ongoing administration of middleware components (such as Apache, Jboss, Tomcat, and WildFly) and managing various databases (including MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL). The role also requires coordinating software updates/upgrades, troubleshooting application issues, and strictly adhering to IT security guidelines. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience in both Linux and Windows server environments, and proven familiarity with ITIL processes.
