Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Materials Tester to join an international technology group focused on delivering high-quality solutions across various industries. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing detailed analyses within the materials laboratory, strictly adhering to applicable specifications. Key tasks include preparing various samples for testing, such as creating cross-sections of welds, performing tensile and hardness tests, and autoclaving samples for corrosion investigations. A critical part of the role is the technical documentation and evaluation of these results, often requiring presentation to internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and updating testing instructions and visual standards, and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of laboratory testing equipment. Candidates should possess technical training in materials technology or a comparable qualification, coupled with initial professional experience, particularly with metals.
