Job Summary

This role involves acting as a specialized expert responsible for the comprehensive assessment and management of hazardous materials within buildings, based in Stuttgart. Day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed building inspections and surveys to identify and evaluate pollutants such as asbestos, PCB, and PAH. The expert will be responsible for precise sample collection following standards like TRGS 519/524 and LAGA, and subsequently developing thorough pollutant registers, remediation concepts, and official expert reports (Gutachten). A core part of the role is advising clients, builders, and project stakeholders on remediation, deconstruction, and occupational safety measures, as well as monitoring and overseeing the execution of these measures. Successful candidates must possess a relevant technical degree (e.g., Civil Engineering or Environmental Technology), coupled with a minimum of five years of professional experience in the field and mandatory certifications (TRGS 519 Annex 3 and TRGS 524).
