Job Summary

This role supports the Research Construction and Infrastructure department of the Max Planck Society, one of Germany's leading research institutions, focusing on critical contractual and procurement processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and drafting planning contracts in close coordination with departmental construction representatives and the legal team. The specialist will manage procurement procedures according to VgV and UVgO regulations, handle data management related to business processes and applications, and serve as a key contact for technical advice to project and division leads. The position also requires updating guidelines, contracts, and fee calculations, and coordinating extensively with internal teams like IT and Purchasing. Key qualifications include a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, proven professional experience in contract and project management, strong IT affinity, and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
