Job Summary
This role requires a dedicated Materials Tester to join the manufacturing team of a global market leader specializing in components for high-performance industrial engines (Marine, Power Generation, Locomotive). Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and conducting comprehensive materials tests, such as hardness, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality analysis. The specialist will select appropriate testing and measuring equipment, create programs for 2D and 3D measuring machines, and perform specialized Penetrant Testing (PT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Critical duties involve documenting results in the CAQ system, investigating deviations, proposing corrective actions, and granting final approval for production lines. The ideal candidate possesses relevant technical vocational training and is comfortable with alternating shift work. Experience
