Job Summary

This challenging role, based in Hammelburg, focuses on the maintenance, operation, and ongoing development of complex stationary and mobile driving simulation systems used primarily for operator training. Day-to-day responsibilities include the testing, parameterization, calibration, and integration of mechanical, mechatronic, electronic, and optical components into these systems. The technician is also responsible for crucial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, alongside managing the parts inventory and ensuring thorough documentation of all tasks. Effective communication across development, logistics, manufacturing, and user teams is essential. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, possess strong technical knowledge in electrical and communication technologies, and be proficient in standard office software.
