Job Summary

This challenging role as a Requirements Engineer focuses on creating detailed specifications for hardware assemblies, software components, and analyzing complex interfaces within the device and vehicle construction sector, particularly defense technology. Day-to-day tasks include supporting architectural design, deriving comprehensive test specifications, and coordinating crucial cross-departmental safety reviews. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, and demonstrate relevant professional experience utilizing Requirements Engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next, and the V-Model. Basic knowledge of embedded software development in C is also expected. This position offers an unlimited contract and an excellent opportunity for qualified entry into a leading defense technology company in Kassel, requiring strong analytical skills and fluency in both German and English.
