Job Summary
This is an exciting University Internship opportunity within the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), focusing on economic cooperation and development. The intern will support the Infrastructure Financing sector, which aims to improve the planning, financing, and management of infrastructure enterprises and cities in developing and transition countries. Day-to-day tasks include temporarily supervising national and regional infrastructure development projects, assisting scientific staff in monitoring national programs in the Balkans, and drafting project proposals, strategic concepts, and policy positions. You will also support thematic groups (e.g., climate and urban development) in creating communication materials and strategic documents, and manage regional and global programs. This role requires a strong analytical sense, excellent writing skills, and the ability to negotiate under pressure. Candidates must hold a recent university degree in a relevant field like Political Economy or International Relations and possess initial professional experience in project management and cooperation with developing countries.

University degree, preferably in Political Economy, International Relations, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (degree must be obtained within the twelve months preceding the internship)
