Functional Safety Engineer | Ingenieur Funktionale Sicherheit (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks a Functional Safety Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive plant construction, particularly within the process industry and Power-to-X sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer-specific solutions across all project phases, emphasizing plant safety. Key daily tasks include processing safety functions according to DIN EN 61511, managing the functional safety lifecycle, and conducting Safety Integrity Level (SIL) verification based on DIN EN 61508. The engineer will also handle the design and specification of Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) equipment, as well as process control systems (PLS/SPS/SSPS). A strong background in electrical or automation engineering, coupled with at least three years of experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) throughout the functional safety lifecycle, is essential.
