Job Summary
The Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (AEI) in Potsdam is seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Researchers to join the 'Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity' (ACR) division. These fixed-term positions, ranging from 2 to 5 years, focus on various aspects of gravitational wave astronomy, offering opportunities to engage in major international collaborations such as LIGO, LISA Consortium, and the Einstein Telescope Collaboration. Candidates will be expected to work creatively and effectively, demonstrating both strong independent research capabilities and collaborative skills within a dynamic, interdisciplinary group of approximately 50 scientists. Specific roles are available under prestigious grants, including the ERC-Synergy Grant and the Simons Collaboration. One unique position involves a split term, spending two years at AEI and two subsequent years at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.
