Job Summary
This critical leadership role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the EBS (Waste-to-Energy) power plant during your shift. The Shift Leader is responsible for the technical condition of the facility, managing the shift personnel, and ensuring compliance with all operational procedures. Key daily tasks include directing and supporting staff, optimizing operational efficiency, coordinating plant start-ups and shutdowns, performing necessary switching operations from the control room, maintaining accurate operational logs, and issuing work permits for maintenance and repair activities. Candidates must possess completed vocational training (Technician or Master Craftsman level is desirable) and several years of professional experience operating conventional energy generating facilities, particularly combustion plants. Strong leadership skills, reliability, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP (time tracking) are essential.
