Job Summary
This role involves working as a Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically focusing on X-ray inspections within the defense industry in Unterlüß, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of NDT projects, including planning, coordinating, and executing X-ray tests. Key daily tasks involve setting up appropriate testing configurations, managing test orders, analyzing and evaluating image data, and generating comprehensive test reports. A critical component of the job is the maintenance and upkeep of X-ray equipment, including preventative maintenance to ensure high system availability. Candidates must possess RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certification according to EN ISO 9712 and have a background in electrical engineering or a comparable field. Experience with X-ray software, digital image processing, and knowledge of radiation protection is essential for success in this technically demanding and analytical position.
