Job Summary

This Product Owner role involves driving the strategic development and successful global deployment of the Engineering Base tool within an international team focused on HVDC and FACTS domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the Steering Committee to define product vision, managing and prioritizing the feature backlog, reviewing and approving global master data, and gathering new requirements from processing departments. The successful candidate will act as the crucial link between business units and external developers, ensuring effective rollout, testing new features, and providing essential user training and documentation. Key qualifications include a university degree in electrical engineering, multiple years of experience in hardware engineering, and proven expertise with Engineering Base or similar CAD applications. This position is vital for maintaining and advancing the engineering backbone of Siemens Energy's grid technology division, supporting the global energy transition.
