Job Summary
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to head the Operations and Service Management department, overseeing approximately 17 employees within the Tax Administration's ICT sector. You will be instrumental in driving the digital transformation of tax administration by ensuring the secure, stable, and economical operation of all ICT services and specialized applications. Key responsibilities include advancing ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management), managing the operational handover of new applications, and monitoring service key figures. The role requires a university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, coupled with extensive leadership experience in IT operations and complex environment management. Expertise in ITIL, application operations, and DevOps concepts is essential. This position offers significant scope for strategic input in IT initiatives, flexible working arrangements including home office, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the future of public administration. Fluency in German and very good English skills are prerequisites for success in this demanding role.
