Job Summary

This role is vital for maintaining the operational excellence of the KVV.nextbike sharing stations (e-bikes and analog bicycles) across Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Bruchsal, and the surrounding region. The Field Service Electrotechnical Assistant is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the physical bike rental infrastructure. Key daily tasks include conducting on-site functional checks of both the physical infrastructure and the digital backend systems. Furthermore, the assistant independently manages the preparation, assembly, and disassembly of stations for service area expansion or restructuring, including material commissioning and final construction acceptance with clients. Candidates must possess a valid Class B driving license, be prepared to operate larger transport vehicles, and ideally have completed technical vocational training or demonstrate strong mechanical and handicraft skills.
