Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in Sewer Construction to join a motivated team responsible for maintaining and modernizing Hagen's critical water infrastructure. The core focus is on comprehensive work preparation for new construction, renewal, and rehabilitation measures across the city. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing detailed execution plans, preparing accurate bills of quantities (including cost estimates and contract conditions), coordinating joint tenders, and managing special technical investigations like statics, soil, and groundwater reports. The engineer will support the entire project lifecycle from initial planning through to final contract awarding. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Technology with a focus on Urban Water Management and possesses at least one year of practical experience in sewer and road construction. Experience with AVA software (iTWO), AutoCAD, GIS, and knowledge of German construction contract law (VOB/HOAI) are highly beneficial.
