Job Summary

This role is for a Head of Electrical Workshop to lead and manage the electrical team and technically supervise shift personnel at a sustainable energy generation facility in the Stuttgart region. The core responsibilities include planning, organizing, and coordinating all electrical maintenance, testing, and repair activities, as well as training staff on work safety and legal compliance. The incumbent will also play a crucial support role for the technical office management in planning and executing electrical aspects of projects, revisions, and short shutdowns. Candidates must possess a strong electrical engineering background, several years of professional experience as a qualified specialist, and advanced certification as an Electrical Technician or Master Electrician. The position offers significant scope for development, particularly in control technology, within a stable, growing public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

Solid training/apprenticeship in an electrical engineering profession, Further qualification as an Electrical Technician or Master Electrician (ideally specializing in Energy and Building Technology or equivalent)

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an electrotechnical profession (Qualified Electrical Specialist - EFK)
  • Professional experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating maintenance, testing, and repair measures
  • Experience in training and instructing staff on work safety and legal regulations
