Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading the Economic Affairs working group within the Pankow District Office, focusing on comprehensive responsibility for finance, personnel, and organization. Day-to-day tasks include managing budget allocation, controlling school budgets, implementing VAT regulations, overseeing school lunch organization (including tenders and contract negotiations), and managing the Sports Office budget. The successful candidate will act as the budget officer, preparing financial plans, monitoring fund usage, and advising leadership and committees. Key requirements include a university degree in Administration, Law, or Economics, or equivalent qualifications, coupled with strong knowledge of budget, procurement, and contract law (LHO, AV LHO), and familiarity with administrative software like ProFiskal. - Must be eligible for salary group A12 or pay grade E11 TV-L; Must possess legal representation authority up to €50,000 and unlimited authorization power; Familiarity with the organization of school administration and Berlin school law is desirable.
