Job Summary

This role as a High Voltage Engineer, based in the Cologne/Bonn area, involves defining critical electrical, thermal, and mechanical specifications for high-voltage systems in collaboration with clients, ensuring strict adherence to current industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed technical specifications and dimensional drawings, assessing technical feasibility, and calculating manufacturing costs in close coordination with Order Engineering. A key component of the job is managing the supply chain by collaborating with Procurement to verify component availability and establish precise supplier requirements. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy/High Voltage Technology, or a relevant technical degree combined with HV experience. While initial professional experience is beneficial, this position is also open to motivated entry-level professionals.
