Job Summary

This role seeks an HVDC Plant Commissioning Engineer based in Forchheim to manage the critical integration and functional testing of control and protection hardware and software for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems. The successful candidate will independently execute and document rigorous Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests (FPT/DPT), including crucial customer acceptance procedures within the company's test center. A core responsibility involves the worldwide commissioning of HVDC plants, ensuring strict adherence to technical, timeline, and economic parameters. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives like Lean and technical reviews, and support commissioning leadership in quality and risk management. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, expertise in HVDC systems, and proficiency with tools like MATLAB/SIMULINK and SIMATIC.
