Job Summary

This role as a Chemical Laboratory Technician involves essential quality control within surface technology. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed chemical analyses of process baths, electrolytes, and concentrates, alongside monitoring critical parameters. You will perform materials testing such as hardness tests and metallographic examinations, which includes sample preparation and microscopy. A key component of the role is meticulous documentation of all results and maintaining technical records, including analysis and work instructions. Furthermore, the position requires the safe and responsible handling and disposal of hazardous substances. You will also contribute to optimizing existing testing and treatment processes. Candidates should possess vocational training as a Materials Tester, Laboratory Technician, or Chemical Technical Assistant, ideally bringing initial experience in electroplating or chemical analytics.
