Job Summary

This pivotal role as Head of Process Control Operations is based at one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, driving digitalization within the Sparkassen Financial Group. The successful candidate will assume overall management and strategic direction for the new Process Control Operations division, centralizing crucial process and cross-sectional topics to ensure standardized procedures across the business unit. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous development and updating of managed processes, coordinating and steering internal and external audit inquiries, and managing subsequent measures. A key aspect of the role involves overseeing critical cross-sectional functions, such as the Compliance Team Member (CTM), Information Security Officer (ISB), and Business Continuity Coordinator (BCK). The position requires a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, proven leadership skills, multi-year project and release management experience, and excellent knowledge of complex IT infrastructures. This is a highly demanding role requiring strong communication, assertiveness, and a willingness to travel and handle on-call duties, offering significant influence over operational strategy.
