Job Summary
This role at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden involves a Biologist in the Institute for Clinical Genetics. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating molecular genetic analysis data in diagnostics and research using advanced software and databases, while also independently preparing molecular genetic findings for genetic diagnostics. A key part of the role includes initiating, taking over, and responsibly conducting research tasks aimed at producing high-quality publications in internationally recognized journals. Additionally, the position involves guiding and supervising technical staff, mentoring and training doctoral candidates, fulfilling teaching obligations for the Institute of Clinical Genetics, and supporting the training for specialists in human genetics. Completed degree in Biology or similar field; PhD desirable
