Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Development Engineer focused on software and virtualization, specifically for underwater communication systems. Day-to-day, you will be implementing and optimizing software, developing UI applications, and creating demonstrators and prototypes for these systems. A key part of the role involves testing and validating software components and interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, strong C++ skills (C++17), and experience with agile software development. Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in agile software development
- Experience with Gitlab (advantageous)
- Experience with DDS (Data Distribution Service) or other Publish/Subscribe infrastructures (advantageous)
- Experience in developing UI applications based on the MVVM pattern (advantageous)
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using Unit Tests (desirable)
