This role involves ensuring the proper maintenance of secondary water bodies, developing and implementing action plans for flood-preventative water management, and serving as a key contact in flood partnerships. The successful candidate will also provide technical support for the planning and execution of measures related to secondary water bodies in accordance with the Water Framework Directive, including managing funding procedures. A critical part of the job is the enforcement and monitoring of regulations concerning water-polluting substances. Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Water Management or Urban Water Management, OR State-certified Technician in the aforementioned fields, OR Qualification for the third entry-level career track in Administration and Finance (formerly higher non-technical administrative service), OR Completed Angestelltenprüfung II, OR Relevant specialized (university/college) degree, e.g., Law.
