This role at the Wiesbaden Public Works Department involves acting as the central point of contact for all digitalization and IT matters, ensuring the security and future viability of the department's IT solutions within the city's modern IT landscape. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative solutions in close collaboration with colleagues and the municipal IT service provider. Key responsibilities include creating technical decision papers, implementing IT security concepts, conducting risk analyses, managing IT-specific procurements, and representing the department in cross-departmental digitalization initiatives. The position also entails planning hardware rollouts, providing first-level support for hardware and software issues, and maintaining the IT catalog and system documentation. Required Skills
Education
