Job Summary

The Municipality of Ensdorf is seeking a dedicated Head of Environmental Department to lead initiatives in environmental, nature, and climate protection. This role involves acting as a key contact for the administration and citizens, initiating and implementing municipal climate and environmental projects, and providing expert guidance on compensatory measures, green planning, and ecological accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for public relations, event organization, and developing a climate protection concept for the municipality. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive sustainable community development, manage public charging stations, and oversee critical areas like water protection and waste management. Initially a fixed-term contract for training, the role is intended to become permanent upon successful integration.
