Job Summary
As a Shift Leader Operations, you will lead a team of approximately 20 employees at Germany's largest independent tank terminal, managing day-to-day operations for liquid bulk goods and contributing to the energy transition. Your role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring quality and safety standards, and optimizing resources. You will be responsible for staff planning, training development, and documentation, while also participating in major revisions and project work. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, ideally as a Chemical Technician with further training as an Industrial or Chemical Master, and extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. This position offers an opportunity to shape the company's future in the energy sector, working in a dynamic environment with significant responsibility and decision-making authority during off-hours.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a technical profession, preferably as a Chemical Technician, ideally with further training as an Industrial Master or Chemical Master. Completed training according to FwDV 2 including First Aid training.
Experience
- Many years of experience in the petrochemical industry and/or tank terminal operations
- Leadership experience and ability to develop a team
- Professional experience in working with and leading activities using QVP or similar continuous improvement methods

- Willingness to work in continuous shift operations. Fulfillment of occupational medical requirements (e.g., G 26/3-fit, shift-fit). Class B driving license, Class CE driving license desirable.
