Job Summary
This role is for an Engineer to support the Water Association Leine-Süd, a municipal service provider for water supply and wastewater disposal in the Göttingen region. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction management, administration, and technical operational leadership, initially as a parental leave cover for approximately two years with potential for extension. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing supply and disposal areas, managing investment and maintenance projects, and contributing to the planning, tendering, and implementation of technical measures across over 100 operational facilities. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in one of the following fields: Urban Water Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Building Services Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in managing supply and disposal areas
- Experience with investment and maintenance projects
- Experience in technical/economic project control, including creating and evaluating operational statistics and key figures
- Involvement in planning, tendering, and implementing technical measures for water supply and wastewater disposal facilities
