Job Summary
This role is for a Civil Engineer to lead the 'County Road Management' section within the regional Hameln division of the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport. The successful candidate will be the central point of contact for the Hameln-Pyrmont and Schaumburg districts, coordinating key external affairs and ensuring efficient collaboration. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading an engaged team, managing personnel, providing technical guidance, and optimizing workflows. The role also involves analyzing complex data for cost transparency, coordinating with other departments for efficient project planning, and driving innovation by developing unified standards. A key focus will be evaluating county road assessments to develop essential construction programs for modern traffic infrastructure. This position offers a broad and interesting scope with significant creative freedom.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Bachelor's degree (or Diplom-FH) in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or an equivalent qualification from comparable fields of study.

- Practical experience in civil or traffic engineering tasks
- Experience in personnel leadership and technical guidance
