Job Summary

This role involves developing electronic modules for the TELEPERM XS nuclear safety instrumentation and control (I&C) platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire hardware development lifecycle, from creating requirement and design specifications to circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout. Key tasks include commissioning analog electronic modules, overseeing test series, and collaborating with suppliers. The position also entails technical project leadership in R&D projects and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hardware developer to work on critical safety-related technology, offering a 35-hour work week and good chances for client takeover.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Control Engineering, or a related engineering science

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics development, hardware design, and circuit design
  • In-depth knowledge of power electronics (topologies, semiconductors, passive components)
  • Very good knowledge of analog circuit technology
  • Solid experience in EMC-compliant PCB design, circuit simulation, and analysis
  • Ideally, experience with PSPICE and ZUKEN CR8000
