Job Summary

This role involves developing and modeling HVDC systems using MATLAB/Simulink and PSCAD/EMTDC, integrating voltage-forming control concepts like direct voltage control and grid-forming control. The engineer will build detailed dynamic simulation models of converters and their controls, conducting dynamic analyses for grid stability, reactive power demand, and transient behavior. The position requires applying PowerFactory/DIgSILENT for grid calculations, collaborating with international, interdisciplinary teams, and taking on independent tasks after a structured onboarding process. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer with expertise in power electronics to contribute to cutting-edge energy technology within a globally recognized company, offering long-term prospects and a supportive work environment.
