This role is for an IT Service Technician to support a leading IT service provider. Day-to-day tasks involve managing hardware inventory, including receiving, inspecting, storing, documenting, and labeling equipment, as well as coordinating deliveries and manufacturer deployments. The technician will be responsible for processing IT tickets using a client-specific system, resolving end-user issues, and replacing faulty components according to manufacturer guidelines. This position requires strong IT hardware knowledge, experience with ticketing systems, and the ability to work independently and interact with users. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable professional experience

Experience

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in IT within the last 3 years, or 3 years of experience in 2nd Level Support
  • Current manufacturer certification (if less than 3 years of 2nd Level Support experience)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and independent processing of IT tickets
  • Experience in solving simple network problems
  • Experience in professionally cabling/connecting IT devices
