Job Summary

This role involves supporting and advancing engineering tools within the ICEDH-G unit, primarily based on MS Access and MS Visio with VBA. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining requirement specifications, user and developer documentation, and continuously improving these tools in collaboration with users. Key responsibilities also include project support during tool application and providing user training. This position is ideal for an engineer with a background in computer science or electrical engineering, strong programming skills, and experience with databases and hardware design. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field

Experience

  • Initial experience in creating requirement specifications and implementing/reviewing specifications
  • Professional programming skills in a high-level language
  • Proficient in database handling, ideally with SQL programming skills
  • Experience in documenting programming results, including code commenting and user descriptions of functions
  • Basic understanding of hardware design, ideally TXS platform
