This role involves leading a department responsible for the approval of funding applications within the framework of European agricultural programs and national initiatives. The Head of Department will oversee the support of rural development in Brandenburg, Germany, by allocating grants for regional activities, infrastructure, and income-generating opportunities. This includes managing a diverse portfolio of projects for municipalities, associations, small businesses, and individuals, contributing to job creation, preservation of rural buildings, and overall regional development. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Law, Agriculture, or a comparable field. Proof of equivalence required for foreign degrees.
Experience
- Professional experience in a leadership position OR participation in a modular leadership development program (e.g., LAköV)
- Professional experience in administrative law
- Professional experience with funding law

- Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to drive official vehicles by the time of employment. Must be able to work in Germany. Willingness to work 40 hours/week. Ability to handle high stress levels.
