Job Summary

Join KWS, a global leader in plant breeding, as a Software Developer to enhance an existing SCRUM team focused on a scientific Data Lakehouse. In this full-time, permanent role based in Einbeck, Lower Saxony (with remote options after onboarding), you'll integrate new software into existing systems crucial for plant breeding and molecular biology across international sites. You'll analyze business domains with subject matter experts, then design and implement .NET and cloud-based solutions. Initially, you'll support backend development and migrate a relational system to a new Data Lakehouse, working with a Data Architect. The role involves implementing new interfaces and services, managing both backend and frontend, ensuring smooth operations of legacy systems, and applying modern DevOps techniques for efficient software delivery and maintenance.
