Job Summary

This role involves defining, documenting, and coordinating safety requirements to ensure a secure development process for an international family-owned company near Friedrichshafen. The Functional Safety Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, creating, and implementing both functional and technical safety concepts, as well as conducting risk and hazard analyses and calculating safety values. A key part of the job is developing concepts to meet technical safety requirements and communicating effectively with all partners throughout the safety lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, strong knowledge of IEC 61508 and EN ISO 13849, and excellent German and English skills.
