Job Summary

This role involves porting PROMICON PLC programs to Siemens controllers, focusing on the analysis, disassembly, and reconstruction of third-party machinery over a 1-2 year period. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining programs using pCOM Motion language, utilizing the pPRO project planning tool from the PIDS software package. Key tasks include defining and managing variables, constants, and objects, implementing mathematical functions and logical operators, and applying C syntax for intuitive programming. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex retrofit projects, leveraging expertise in PLC programming and motion control to modernize industrial systems.
